About Us

People Powered Elections Seattle is a coalition-led campaign of grassroots organizations, activists, and community leaders working to increase voter participation and reduce the influence of big money in Seattle’s elections. We are advocating for the renewal of Seattle’s Democracy Voucher Program and working to ensure that every Seattle resident has an equal voice in the political process.

The City Council is planning to refer a simple levy renewal measure to the August primary ballot, and we will be coordinating a summer-long Get Out The Vote and public education campaign. This will be led by members of the People Powered Elections Washington coalition in collaboration with our community partners. We’d love for you to become one of them!
